These monthly rates become effective March 1, 2022.
Effective 1/1/2022, the LINECO Board of Trustees has increased the Weekly Income Benefit Payment from $400 per week to $600 per week (less any applicable tax withholding). This benefit is designed to assist employees who are unable to work due to an illness or non-work related accidental injury. There are specific rules to qualify for this benefit.

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP), which was signed into law on March 11, 2021, includes a six-month federally financed COBRA subsidy covering the full COBRA premium for eligible individuals. This is a 100% subsidy covering the full cost of COBRA continuation coverage.
The new COBRA subsidy will be available starting April 1, 2021.
LINECO participants who may qualify for the COBRA Premium Assistance will be mailed additional information beginning in April 2021 with specific election details.
LINECO is pleased to announce replacement LINECO Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) debit cards. The updated LINECO HRA Mastercard will be replacing the "Benny Card" in mid-December. All balances will be transferred to the new card and LINECO HRA benefits are NOT changing.
Please note that transaction activity and card usage will be available beginning December 16, 2020 after a required financial institution blackout period. If you have a qualified HRA expense, you may be required to submit a paper claim for reimbursement during the blackout period of December 10th thru December 15th. Thank you for understanding.

In accordance with Federal regulations, LINECO is extending additional time for members to elect and pay for COBRA. The normal 60 day period to elect COBRA and subsequent 45 days to make payment for COBRA will be extended to allow for 60 days past the end of the COVID - 19 National Emergency Period*.
During these uncertain times, LINECO continues to work behind the scenes to ensure there is no interruption of service to you and your family. Your health and safety has always been and continues to be our highest priorities. It is our goal to continue to provide you with access to your health and welfare benefits.
The Fund Office is fully operational. We have taken several steps within our organization to protect the safety of our valued Fund Office employees who provide you with outstanding service every day, including suspending business travel, shifting to virtual meetings and ensuring our staff can telecommute.

The LINE CONSTRUCTION BENEFIT FUND (LINECO) is required by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to send out proof of health coverage for 2017. If you were eligible for LINECO at any time during 2017, you may receive an IRS 1095 – B Form that proves you had qualified and minimum essential health coverage for you and your eligible family members during 2017.
